Beautiful lady,
If you follow me InstagramYou may have seen that I got a new tattoo a few months ago. Prior to getting this new tattoo, I had two smaller tattoos that included a heart and my nickname. FaberisThe idea for my third tattoo has been in my head for quite some time, but I’m the kind of person who takes a really long time to make decisions, especially since I know tattoos are permanent. worth itkept popping into my head.
There are several definitions of worthwhile: The one that stood out to me the most was the definition of worthwhile. Good, worthy, valuable, important.
My self-worth is something I’ve thought about a lot in my 33 years of life. There were times when I felt worthy, blessed, and capable, but there were also times when I didn’t know who I was and, frankly, I was pretty hard on myself for the mistakes I made. Life can be tough. I grew up in a single-parent home and navigating life as a girl without the guidance of a father was a big blow to my self-esteem. It took a lot of mistakes, tears, and effort to get through it on my own.
The truth is, we all experience a lot of things in life that make us question who we are and how we feel about our worth. It’s up to us to change that situation. I vow to tell myself every day that I am worthy, no matter what happens in life.
So I felt like I had to actually get those words tattooed on my skin, because I wanted to remind myself that no matter what happens, no matter what I do, my worth will never change.
I hope this post reminds you that your worth never changes either.
How do you feel about your worth?
May God bless you.
