WNBA superstar Angel Reese went from being called Bayou Barbie to literally having her own Barbie doll. Awesome 2026 All-Stars and models are about to take over the toy and sneakerhead realm. On Friday morning, Barbie and Reebok unveiled the Barbie Angel Wreath 1 and Signature Dolls.
As part of Angel Wreath’s collaboration with Mattel, she’s launching the “Barbie” Reebok Angel Wreath 1, which will be available on August 3rd. WNBA fans will get a preview in the coming days. Angel Wreath Barbie and her new “Barbie” Angel Wreath 1 colorway will be on display this All-Star Weekend. The exhibit will be on display at the Togethxr House, 113 N Elizabeth St. in Chicago. The actual doll is currently available through Mattel and its retail partners.
Nevertheless, the Barbie brand is excited to release this special collaboration with Angel Reese and Reebok. As for why they chose to work with Angel. iconic doll brands state,
“Reese not only pushes boundaries, but she also owns the court. The breakout star of the Women’s National Basketball Association first learned the game from her mother and honed her skills with her brother in her driveway in Baltimore. By high school she dominated the court and was recognized as a five-star recruit. Reese Foundation. The organization helps girls bounce back from hardship by tackling cyberbullying and promoting equal opportunities in areas such as sport and financial literacy.

The 24-year-old is the second WNBA player in history to have an autographed Barbie doll, after Seattle Storm legend Sue Bird’s release in 2024 following her retirement. Celebrities who own Barbie dolls in sports and beyond include names like Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Venus Williams, Alex Morgan, and Naomi Osaka.
