A Peek Inside | Art By Design 2026

art by design It’s one of my favorite events to attend every year. I’m not an interior designer, but I love the creativity and skill that comes with interior design, and I’m always inspired by the way each vignette is hand-picked and brought to life. There’s something about the gallery-style showroom setting that makes everything feel immersive, and the vignettes seem to get more creative and expansive with each turn.

Interior design trends can sometimes feel homogeneous, so I really appreciate the wide range of design perspectives on display at the show. art by design. No matter your personal style, there’s always something that resonates. There are lots of different aesthetics to embrace, whether it’s bold and layered or minimal and sophisticated.

Since its release in 2016, art by design I grew up in a very meaningful way. Approximately 28 vignettes were on display this year, with artists displaying their work and also available for viewing and purchase throughout the showroom. There are several local boutiques. whitney winkler art studio and Peko’s paradox also joined in and added a cool layer of new creativity to the experience.

Add to this ticketed events and programs throughout the week, and you have a complete experience that’s more than just an exhibition. plus, art by design raised nearly $1 million to support art memphis We’ve been providing grants to local artists and arts organizations for many years, so you can experience true design for purpose.

There was so much fun color, texture, textiles, and art this year, so I’m sharing some of my favorite moments from some of the different spaces below.

This is just a small portion of what was on display, but there was a lot to see. I participated in several events throughout the week, which inspired me every day. It keeps getting better and better and I can’t wait for the next one.
