My husband Kelvin and I had a truly magical birthday celebration. The Cake Bake Shop Disney’s Boardwalk honestly felt like stepping straight into a real-life fairy tale.
Visiting this dreamy destination has been on my wish list for years because it perfectly matches my soft, whimsical princess aesthetic. I’ve long admired founder Gwendolyn Rogers and her inspiring story from baking bread in her tiny kitchen to building her first bakery in Indiana and creating the most magical dining experiences imaginable.
This was my first time visiting the Florida store and I was completely charmed from the moment I walked inside. Every sparkling detail, from the elegant décor to the stunning merry-go-round centerpiece, felt magical and made me feel like Cinderella arriving at the ball. The atmosphere was warm, quirky and truly breathtaking.
For dinner, I indulged in chicken andouille gumbo topped with crab chunks, and Kelvin enjoyed a grilled salmon sandwich. Both dishes were really delicious. But the real fairytale moment came with the dessert…the famous raspberry champagne cake. 🍰✨
This heavenly creation features layers of vanilla cake drizzled with French Champagne simple syrup, filled with raspberry pixie jam and fresh raspberries, frosted with dreamy Champagne vanilla buttercream, and garnished with fresh berries. Every bite tasted like pure luxury and celebration.
To make this experience even sweeter, the adorable waitress sprinkled fairy pixie dust on my hands, creating a moment where I felt like a princess from my own picture book with my birthday wishes.
And don’t get me started on the gift shop! It was filled with quirky treasures, sparkling sweets, and beautiful cakes wrapped to take home. I wanted one of these.
From the dreamy desserts to the magical atmosphere, this birthday was everything I imagined and more. It was such a beautiful way to celebrate another year of life, love, and unforgettable memories. I can’t wait to go back already. See all the magic inside…
