A CoJ leader named Apple asked me a question that I couldn’t stop thinking about…
“Joe Cup writes a post with another baby’s name?? I know Joe may not be in the baby’s name zone anymore, but there are many readers who appreciate the opportunity to get name ideas from other readers. I also have myself included!”
*Well* I’m also hanging in the baby name section as my husband Max and I welcome our third baby, a sweet girl! We are very excited. All we’re talking about these days is someone I think the new little nugget looks similar, how Emiliano adjusts to becoming a brother, and Ella is seeing her sister for the first time (This is her first video that she met Emiliano).
But what topics we keep talking late in bed? Baby’s name. We’ve been bothering our brains.
I’m back with my first baby, Ella
There was a solid plan with the names Ella and Emiliano. As soon as I saw the double line for the first time on a pregnancy test, Max and I agreed to choose a name as they had already given three names if the sex was a woman (Ella, Irana, Remy). If it was a boy, Max can choose a name. I ended up getting the rights to Ella and name, so we made an agreement that Max would get a dib in name if he had a second child. He always wanted to name his son Emiliano, a spin-off of his full name, Maximiliano. So, during my second pregnancy, Max opened the doctor’s email and read, “The presence of the Y chromosome predicts a male fetuse,” and then looked at me with the biggest smile.
However, this time, we are trying to decide on a name together. For inspiration, I was able to record the names of every woman I hear on TV, read books and see them on Instagram. We saw it too US Social Security 2023 list of the most popular name. Here are the top 10 names for girls:
– Olivia
– Emma
– Charlotte
– Amelia
– Sophia
– Mia
– Isabella
– AVA
– Evelyn
– Luna
Here are the top 10 boys names:
– Liam
– Noah
– Oliver
– James
– Elijah
– Mateo
– Theodore
– Henry
– Lucas
– William
I still have five months to brainstorm, but so far I love the name Aaliyah. After the singer) and Margot (short and sweet). I also liked the name Joaquin for boys.
Now I really want to know: What baby names are you interested in these days? Do you name your baby after a relative or location? Or what about fictional characters? I want to know!
PS My husband and I gave my daughter my last name and 10 ways to help a new mom.
