This weekend, Toby, Anton, and I went to friends Erika’s Baby shower…
As soon as we enter restaurantI found the baby shower to be just as chic and realistic as Erica. First, a man was invited, so that his husband, Christian, his father-in-law, and his man’s friend were mixed together among the women. Of course, I brought my two boys. They worship Erika Because she is funny, friendly and sweet enough to talk to them about basketball. We went too Liberty Games together A few months ago.
Sandwiches, pastries, and grocery sheet cakes (from Wegman’s! Very good!) ran down the bar for some iced coffee. A two-tier cake stand served cookies that I’ve been a kid. We provided monster cookies for Erika and Linzer tart for Christians. White balloons hit the ceiling, and pictures of the couple’s own baby were framed on the table.

But what is my favorite part? Erika’s sister Sarah I was creating the most adorable scrapbook for my baby.

I liked the note cards had prompts so I quickly got an idea of what to write. “I wanted something similar to a library card,” Sarah told me. “So I designed the card. CanvaI printed them out Card Stockand cut them out. ”
The boy and I filled out our cards. I loved reading their answers – Anton said that baby’s first book Brown bear (his own favorite from his baby days) and Toby leveled up Great Gatsby. My answer? Of course, cupofjo.com.
“I read all the notes last night. It’s just Christian and me.” Erika He told me today. “Some were goofy. Some were emotional. We both cried.”
