best summer lipstick

I’ve always been a summer girl. I swam in my grandmother’s pool from morning until night. Unlimited popsicles. Have the kids stay up past their bedtime to watch the sunset. And try playing with bright lip colors. Here are 5 fun lipstick trends I tried…

How to make popsicle lips

1. Popsicle spoutwith a bold color in the center and a soft, gradient-like fade.

product: I went with you Tower28’s Beach Please Cream Blush — made for cheeks and For lips, use Finest Hour shade. At first glance, I was worried that the pigment might be too light. But oh my gosh, guys. The colors stand out most beautifully. The texture is moisturizing and almost slippery so it blended easily on my lips.

How to apply: To create the ombre effect, I first concentrated the formula on the center of my lips with my fingertips. Next, place a light layer on the outside of your lips. Finally, I patted the wet object. beauty blender Apply on the outside of your lips.

verdict: I love this cute lip look. You’ll have fun wearing it anywhere from a family pool day to drinks with your girlfriends. The only prey? If you want the popsicle look to last all day, you’ll need to touch up frequently.

How to make a cool 90s brown lipstick

2. Cool tone 90’s browna greige-ish lip accented with brown liner.

product: This look called for both lip liner and lipstick. I chose Tower28’s one linerColor Me Fine’s creamy matte liner. It’s a soft color, but when layered, it becomes a deeper shade. Next we went together Rare Beauty’s Kind Words Lipstick Be creative. The formula is described as “matte” so I was prepared for it to feel dry. However, the lipstick felt so velvety – I actually said “wow” loudly Because while I was applying it, I was shocked by the incredibly creamy texture.

How to apply: Confession: I never wear lip liner. For advice, I turned to a makeup guru. Desi Perkins — On YouTube, like kismet, her latest makeup tutorials are Maddie Perez makeup tutorial! Her videos gave me the courage and direction I needed. As she suggested, I began lining my lips in Cupid’s bow, working my way down with light, feathery strokes. Then I applied the lipstick. Finally I used dry beauty blender To bring everything together.

verdict: At first, I was intimidated by the brown trend. What if that color washes over me? What if it looks like a costume? But in the end I really liked it. It made my lips look sensual and sensual. I would love to wear this on a date night with a black dress, strappy heels, and an ice-cold martini.

Musa Lip Plump Review

3. Shellac liphigh shine with a neutral undertone.

product: I chose Musa’s lips are pursed and plump Almond Mum – A super shiny nude with a hint of brown. It also has a subtle scent of almond extract, which I really like.

How to apply: The two layers of gloss gave my lips a good amount of pigment and shine. The final look was very shiny, which is what I was going for.

verdict: A minute after I took the photo above, I went into the kitchen to get a glass of water and my cousin, who was babysitting the kids, said, “Your lips are so pretty.” The gloss plumps up your lips and adds warmth to your face with a touch of color. Swipe on this to accentuate your just-back-from-vacation look shining bronzer cream For cheekbones, bridge of nose, and eyelids.

Janelle lipstick test

4. Soft peachshimmering lipstick in pink hues.

product: Rare Beauties Positive Light Luminizing Lip Gloss In Beam, it’s a soft coral with tiny specks that I imagine are like fairy dust.

How to apply: It couldn’t be simpler. Just swipe on one layer of gloss.

verdict: This lip trend can be worn all year round. Just one swipe creates a romantic everyday glow that will make you look like you’re wearing this all the time.

Rare Beauty Lip Souffle Review

5. Bright Coral, Matte orange-red lip.

product: After searching around, I couldn’t find the coral lip color I wanted. So I decided to use the following combo. Rare Beauty Lip Souffle Matte Lip Cream Inspire (bright red) and Rare Beauties Soft Pinch Tint Lip Oil in Joy (calm peach).

How to apply: I love a punchy coral, but since the color is so bright, lip prep and precise application are key. To exfoliate my lips, I rubbed my lips in a circular motion for 20 seconds with a wet towel. Next, I applied a tiny bit of red lip balm because the color red really stands out. Lastly, I took some peach lip oil on my fingertips and applied it to my lips.

verdict: Bright lips are perfect for summer! Wouldn’t it look great with a white dress? But you know what impressed me the most? What can be worn for a long time is lip balm and lip oil. oh my god! This lip color doesn’t rock. Here is a photo of my fingertips right after I blended the peach lip oil over the red lip balm.
