What little things do you always bring with you when you travel?My personal checklist over the years includes a fascinating book and a simple alarm clock. I would love to hear your checklist. here we go…

1. Alarm clock. I like to turn off my cell phone at night, so I carry it with me to wake me up. my usual watch From my bedside table. Very simple and easy to use, even when jet lagged.

2. Sunscreen (duh). Confession: I used to go here a lot when I was in college. tanning salonGyahahaha. Now that I’m older and wiser, I’m more particular about sunscreen. this stick Keep it in your bag all summer long and reapply it on the go, especially on boys’ faces. 3. Self-tanning lotion. So, when I want to brighten my skin after exposure to sunlight, I use self-tanner. Over the years, I’ve tried dozens of different ones, but the standout winners are: Saint-Tropez. It is easy to apply evenly and gives a very natural finish. Just put this on the night before your trip and you’re good to go.

4. Stamp. Well, I’m a geek! I love sending postcards during the holidays, but finding stamps in a new place can be oddly difficult. So, I will bring some stamps to put on postcards for my mom, dad, and dad. best friend’s niece.

5. Deck of playing cards. You can play Gin Rummy anytime, anywhere, on the beach, in the pub, anytime, anywhere. My cousin famously hates it, but everyone else enjoys it.

6. Quick-drying nail polish. All my beautiful friends swear dazzle dryHere’s why: You do have to swipe on multiple coats, but it dries quickly (about 10 minutes) and lasts forever without chipping. I love painting my nails fun colors And when I travel, I completely forget about it.

9. Chocolate. Do you ever find yourself craving something sweet at the end of the night when you get back to your rental home or hotel? I always pack a Tony Chocolonery (a taste test winner) or a Reese’s for those moments.

10. Sunglasses. My doctor sister begs me to wear sunglasses whenever I’m outside. The sun can cause major damage to your eyes.
