There are many ways parents can help promote body image problems and combat psychological disorders like Bigorexia.

“We will limit social media consumption as much as possible, but please be aware that we cannot completely eliminate that,” advised Trunzo. “Your kids will be exposed to these images, so talk about what they are seeing. Make sure you understand what they say, how you interpret what they are seeing, the reality behind what they are seeing, and you haven’t “buyed” the images. ”

He also recommended emphasising the value of human worth and dignity beyond physical appearance. It focuses on quality such as kindness, creativity, humor and more.
