Eurovision is back. In 2025, I’m more loud than ever, quiller and heartfelt.
Hosted in Basel, Switzerland, this year’s contest debuted a new theme. Considering the history of Eurovision’s queer and camp, it’s very suitable for “Unity Shapes Love.”
Think of the fusion of techno and yodeling sounds for pulse hearts, alpine-style stage designs, and competitive positions.
When people are divided more than ever and LGBTQ+ people are attacked and discriminated against around the world, the theme is the cries of a rally to help everyone unite with the glamour, charm and radical love of Eurovision.
Meet Lumo: Eurovision 2025 Mascot

Basel and Swiss broadcasting station SRG SRR have announced the mascot for the 69th Eurovision Song Contest.
Lumo is “more than just a character, designed to showcase the heart of Eurovision’s heartbeat. It is said to be a living symbol of music and the slogan of Eurovision, “Unified Music.”
The mascot was designed as part of a contest invited by 1,100 students from the Basel Academy of Arts FHNW and Basel School of Design. Their creative ideas.
When is the Eurovision on TV?
It only took a month before Eurovision returns, and fans are preparing for the spectacle after a historic victory with the non-binary star Nemo and their song “The Code” in 2024.
Currently, Sweden is toping the betting chart to win the 8th Eurovision Song Contest thanks to queer-appearing trio casinos and theirs Atypical, chaotic banger “Bar Bada Basu” But many other countries have thrown their hats into the ring.
And don’t forget that there are plenty of queer talents competing for the crown, including Red Sebastian of Belgium, Erika Vikman of Finland, and Milianaconte of Malta.
Conte still draws attention despite the drama for the lyrics of her song “Kant”, as it sounded too similar to the English vows, despite the fact that “Kant” means “sing” in Malta.
She wants to resubmit a new version of the song “Serving” and become a candidate for the top spot.
This year’s Eurovision could be a history creator in the footsteps of Nemo, but the possibility of betting doesn’t really want UK and Girl Band representatives to remember Monday.
Eurovision 2025 will be held in Basel, Switzerland from May 13th to May 17th. The two semi-finals will be held on May 13th and May 15th, with the grand finals being held on May 17th.
