But a bigger story is happening on stage.

‘Superdisco’ dominates festival season

super disco Expanding on Trixie’s early DJ days, solid pink discobut leans more toward narrative-driven performance. This time, she’s not just a DJ, she’s also directing a sci-fi story about people arriving on Earth from a pink jungle planet to intervene in humanity’s collapse into greed, automation, and chaos.

This work will be featured at the summer’s biggest festivals, including:

The sci-fi story behind the dance floor

Not a normal DJ set, super disco Build a complete narrative around a performance concept.

“New tracks, remixes, bootlegs… I want to provide a sense of escapism, but I’m also weaving a story where love and humanity triumph over greed and automation. It’s riskier than anything I’ve ever done on the festival circuit,” she said.

Trixie said the inspiration came from a combination of classic science fiction and cultural commentary.

“I’ve been reading a lot of news, Star Trek, The Jetsons, Watchmen rereads, and old science fiction, so I knew I wanted a space and alien theme,” she said. “Musically, I lean towards what I love the most: retro disco, funk and funky house.”

She added that the visual world creates contrast between opposing forces.

“Visually, the ‘worst parts of America’ personified by male villains obsessed with the military, robotics and greed are contrasted with Trixie, who hails from a pink jungle planet that values love and connection.”

From drag racing to the dance floor

This announcement marks a new evolution in a career that goes far beyond drag performance.

Since winning RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, Trixie has built a multi-platform career spanning music releases, cosmetics, comedy, podcasting, and publishing. Her DJ work in particular has been one of her most successful live ventures. solid pink disco They filled venues around the world and drew club crowds alongside drag fans.

and super discothe momentum is scaling up again, this time with a bigger stage, more narrative ambition, and a clearer foray into festival headliner territory.

Madonna reworked to festival specifications

timing of super disco The song is a repositioning of an early 2000s hit through a modern house lens. While the original leaned heavily towards disco sampling, Trixie’s version emphasizes production changes designed for large festival sound systems.

It’s part of a broader creative phase that prioritizes reinterpretation over imitation, taking universally recognizable pop tracks and reshaping them for a dance floor built on nostalgia and irony in equal measure.

Between new music and an expanding live concept, Trixie’s current era leans fully into performance as world-building, with the DJ booth doubling as a stage for sci-fi storytelling and the dance floor becoming part of the story.
