Transwrestler Kid Bandit (X/kiddbanditpro)

Trans pro wrestler Kid Bandit left the ring in tears after what appeared to be his last match for the time being at EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch 11 during WrestleMania Week in Las Vegas.

A few days earlier, she hinted at her withdrawal in an April 18th post on X, writing, “That’s it everyone! Thank you for watching.”

The parting moment unfolded Saturday at LGBTQ+ wrestling’s flagship showcase. Bandit competed in a four-way match with Steph de Lander, Charlie Evans, Ally Kutch and Femme Fatale. As the game began, chants of “Thank you, Bandit” poured in from the hundreds of spectators.

Bandit’s match ended when Kutch pinned her after a Heatseeker piledriver. out sports. After the bell, Kutch hugged Bandit and left her alone in the ring to accommodate the audience. Bandit removed his kick pad, placed it in the center of the ring, and left in tears.

Shortly after, Bandit reflected on the moment in another X post, writing, “I lost most of my matches. I won everyone’s hearts. Thank you. I miss seeing you all anymore.”

Bandit’s walk-off capped off his final few appearances as an in-ring competitor during WrestleMania week in Las Vegas, culminating at EFFY’s Big Gay Brunch 11 on Saturday.

Kid Bandit and Queer Wrestling Space

Bandit is a prominent figure in the independent wrestling world, known for his anime-inspired aesthetic and energetic personality. She is widely known within queer wrestling circles and has used her platform to speak out about transgender inclusion and safety in sports and performance spaces.

The Big Gay Brunch, held to coincide with WrestleMania weekend, combines camp performances with indie wrestling, and EFFY says drag and wrestling have more in common than you might think.

Bandit turned public during his wrestling career and was away from wrestling from 2023 to 2025. She also recently founded T4T Wrestling and hopes to create a space for transgender and non-binary movement and artistic expression in wrestling and other art forms.
