Dear President Joe Biden,
Since you and Vice President Kamala Harris took over the Executive branch of our Government following the 2020 election, the national unemployment rate has fallen significantly to pre-pandemic levels, the stock market has reached all-time highs, and wages have increased while inflation has fallen significantly.

For the first time since the Eisenhower administration, Congress passed a sweeping, bipartisan infrastructure bill to repair outdated and crumbling highways, bridges, sewer and water systems and airports, improve public transportation, install electric charging stations, and expand internet access.
You helped approve millions of dollars in funding to address the climate crisis, to make computer chips in America, to pay for medical care for service members exposed to the military’s toxic “incinerators,” to expand Project Gun Moon to finally cure this deadly disease, and you even helped pass a gun reform package.
Mr. President, you and Vice President Harris have demonstrated true leadership in restoring the Western alliance to counter the unjust and brutal aggression of the sovereign nation of Ukraine by the totalitarian regime of the Russian Federation led by Vladimir Putin, and have worked tirelessly to limit China’s aggression against Taiwan.
Yes, there is still much work to be done, but seldom since Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s New Deal have we seen a presidency as good as yours.
Despite MAGA’s many detractors, I believe you are truly loved by the people who are grateful to you for being a part of them and for their service. I admire your human qualities: humility, charity, ethical professionalism, kindness, generosity, and trust in others. I even find your public gaffes somewhat endearing.
Unfortunately, your apparent trust in Israel’s longtime Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, backfired and proved to be poorly founded.
You warned Prime Minister Netanyahu after Hamas carried out a terrorist invasion and attack on October 7, 2023, during a youth concert for peace in southern Israel, leaving more than 1,200 people of various nationalities dead, many more injured, and an estimated 250 people taken hostage.
You forced the Prime Minister to avoid making the same kind of self-destructive error our leaders made when they overreacted militarily after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on America, which led to the overthrow of Iraq’s leadership and sparked a civil war that claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands of mostly innocent Iraqis.
The U.S. invasion of Iraq strengthened the power of one of our main rivals, Iran, in the region, depleted U.S. finances, and left more than 4,400 U.S. military and civilians dead in its wake.
However, since the Israeli invasion on October 7, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reportedly killed more than 40,000 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank, including many innocent civilians who were not involved in the attacks on October 7 or since. This has led to serious problems, including the bombing of medical facilities, homes, schools and other shelters, the depletion of food, drinking water and fuel, and the spread of diseases, including new outbreaks of polio.
Mr. Biden, how can you imagine that Prime Minister Netanyahu, who has been indicted and is on trial for multiple crimes, would consider your request for detention? Corruption allegationsIs there liability for fraud, bribery, breach of trust etc?
The trial was suspended by emergency decree from the country’s justice minister after the Oct. 7 Hamas attack but is due to resume soon. If convicted, Netanyahu could face up to 10 years in prison.
Like former President Donald Trump, who has been indicted on multiple felony charges, Netanyahu claims he is the victim of a politically motivated “witch hunt” carried out by political opponents and the media who are trying to remove him from power.
But unlike Trump, Netanyahu is a very intelligent and strategic thinker: Trump is a day trader who is driven by emotion and instinct, while Netanyahu is more cunning and forward-thinking, seeing the bigger picture and actionable steps in his three-dimensional chess game with the Israeli people.
Even before his far-right coalition government ordered the IDF to invade Gaza, Prime Minister Netanyahu was envisioning ways to prevent the judiciary from holding him accountable for his alleged crimes.
In 2023, Prime Minister Netanyahu Judicial system Changes intended to alter the balance of power in Israel. The changes were intended to severely limit the power of the judiciary, thereby reducing its authority over legislation and public policy. supreme courtThe power of Judicial ReviewThis would be achieved by transferring power over judicial appointments to the government and limiting the power of government legal advisers.
The amendment would effectively strip the Supreme Court of its right to declare laws of the Israeli parliament (Knesset) unconstitutional, essentially allowing the Knesset to overturn a Supreme Court ruling by reintroducing a bill and passing it with a simple majority of Knesset members.
Despite being criticized and sanctioned by countries including the UK, European Union countries and the US for violating international law, Prime Minister Netanyahu and his government, with the full backing of the World Zionist Organization, are planning to seize and annex ever-increasing amounts of Palestinian land and property in the West Bank.
Israel is finalizing plans to increase the number of so-called Jewish “settlers” (also called land and property stealers) in the West Bank to one million by 2050. Currently, about half a million Jews live illegally in the West Bank.
So, Mr. Biden, you can see by now that Prime Minister Netanyahu has no intention of negotiating in good faith to end the war with Hamas and bring home the 100-plus hostages that remain. He has been playing Russian roulette with the lives of the hostages and has little concern for the fate of civilians trapped in the Gaza Strip by the war.
And unfortunately for you, Mr. Biden, Netanyahu fooled you too.
Prime Minister Netanyahu understands that new elections will be held once the war is over. Since his party and the other parties in his coalition have lost support, he will inevitably be ousted from power. An investigative commission will be formed to investigate his government’s failure to anticipate and prevent the October 7 attacks. Moreover, allegations of wrongdoing against him will continue unhindered.
President Biden, in the four months remaining in your term, please speak out more forcefully against terrorism. terrorism The impact that Prime Minister Netanyahu and his government have had on the Palestinian people, the Israeli people and the world community, all who wish for peace and a final resolution to the long-standing conflict between Israelis and Palestinians.
In the inimitable words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., “There can be no justice without peace; and there can be no peace without justice.”
