Singer Khalid declared he has “never hidden” his sexuality and is “not ashamed” after coming out as gay on social media.

The 26-year-old American musician released a series of photos on Friday (November 22), shortly after fellow artist Hugo D. Almonte posted a photo of the two and revealed details of their alleged sexual relationship. He acknowledged his sexuality in the post.

Khalid posted a rainbow flag emoji and wrote: Next topic please (lol),” before responding to a fan who asked if he was gay with a very simple answer: “I am!” And that’s okay. ”

Khalid, who is known for hits such as 2017’s “Love Lies” with Normani and 2018’s “Eastside” with Halsey and Benny Blanco, said he has “never hidden” his sexuality. “No,” he continued to open up to his fans on the platform. It was “no one’s business.”

Meanwhile, Almonte has cooled down heat over his role in the show, adding that the queer British singer and producer is among those criticizing the musician (who averages 744 monthly listeners on Spotify) on social media. Also includes MNEK.

“Loser, loser, loser, loser behavior,” MNEK wrote, tagging Almonte, and added a follow-up: “I don’t like that shit, really WHACCCCCKKKKKK.”
