The newly released photos and bold posters showcase Margaret Quarry as Honey O’Donahew, a small town private investigator with keen eyes and sharp instincts. When a string of suspicious deaths returns to the secret church, Honey dives into the incident and falls into trouble.
The poster headline says it all:
“She has only two desires, one of which is justice.”
I’m guessing about another one (hello, Aubrey Plaza).
A bite of dark comedy
Coen directed and co-written with Cooke – his longtime collaborator and wife –Don’t honey! It blends small town mysteries, religious scandals and a bunch of strange turmoils.
Quarry leads a stacked cast that includes Aubrey Plaza, Charlie Day, Billy Eichner and Chris Evans. Based on the first image, we have acquired femme fatal energy, corrupt church leaders, and many secrets.

What to expect
From its appearance, Don’t honey! It’s not just a murder mystery. It’s a dark and entertaining ride in Campy through obsession, desire and revenge. The visuals are grumpy and dramatic, with the retro edges feeling completely fresh.
Don’t honey! It will be released in theaters nationwide on Friday, August 22nd.
