Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, who made brutal sexist, homophobic and transphobic remarks at Benedictine University, has once again made it clear that he meant every bigoted line he spoke in his speech.
Speaking at Chiefs training camp this weekHe told reporters he prayed extensively about what he would say in the speech and chose his words very intentionally.
“I intend to stick to my word,” he stated.
Butker sparked a fierce debate in May when he said women are happiest in the kitchen serving men, and slammed the LGBTQ community when he spoke about the concept of human pride.

“Pride isn’t a deadly sin that we can dedicate an entire month to,” he said of Pride Month this June, “but it’s true God-centered pride that glorifies God in partnership with the Holy Spirit.”

“I’m saying things that I believe are very important,” Butker said. While some racists, sexists and homophobes might prefer to keep their views to themselves so as not to offend others, Butker has the courage to openly express his prejudices and say nasty things about gays and women.
Then he started talking total nonsense about loving people who were saying horrible things.
“I want people to know that no matter what I say, and it may be the complete opposite of what you say, but no matter what your opinion is, no matter how different we are, I’m still going to love you,” he said. “I love you and we’re going to get along and we’re probably going to be good friends.”
Yes, telling women that they belong in the kitchen and telling gays that it’s a mortal sin is a great way to start a loving relationship.
Butker has three children. He has a wife and at least one girl and one boy. I hope they aren’t gay and never have to listen to their father’s blatant homophobic tales.
