Doechii, a chart-topping rapper and three-time Grammy nominee, didn’t hold back during a recent appearance. The Breakfast Club. The conversation started with questions about past relationships and delved into bisexuality, infidelity, and society’s double standards. Hosts DJ Envy, Jess Hilarious, and Charlamagne tha God set the stage, but it was Doechii’s keen and heartfelt insight that stole the show.

When discussing Doechii’s song “Denial is the River of Egypt,” the artist noted that the song’s title is a reference to Wendy Williams’ iconic quote, “Denial is the River of Egypt…Your husband is gay!” I admitted that there was.

“I chose this title because I was dealing with someone who was lying to me, but anyway…”

The hosts continued to ask questions about her ex-boyfriend, who cheated on her with another man. Doechii didn’t mince words. The problem wasn’t his sexuality, it was his betrayal. “I’m bisexual. Cool. I’ve dated bisexual men. Please tell me up front what that is,” she says, emphasizing that honesty is the foundation of any relationship. I did.

The rapper also didn’t hesitate to denounce the prejudice surrounding male bisexuality. DJ Envy pointed out how society views male and female bisexuality differently. What was Doechi’s reaction? Straightforward and complete: “Absolutely not, I’m not.” I don’t see it that way. I think sexuality is fluid, but it doesn’t bother me at all. ” Her words challenged outdated stereotypes and encouraged a more open perspective.
