Women in their 20s and 30s It will be held on Zoom at 8pm. This is a social discussion group for queer women in the Washington DC area and is a great way to make new friends and meet other queer women in a fun and friendly atmosphere. For more information, see WiTT’s Private Facebook Group.

Hosted by Go Gay DC “LGBTQ+ Community Social in the City” The event will take place at 7pm at Hotel Zena. This event is the perfect place to make new friends, network professionally, share ideas and build community. This event is FREE and more details are below. Event Bright.

Saturday, August 10

Hosted by Go Gay DC “LGBTQ+ Community Brunch” The event will take place at 11am at Freddy’s Beach Bar & Restaurant. This fun weekly event brings together the DMV area LGBTQ+ community and allies for good food and conversation. Participation is free, see below for details. Event Bright.

Sunday, August 11

Hosted by Go Gay DC “LGBTQ+ Dinner” The event will take place at Federico Ristorante Italiano Freddy’s Beach Bar & Restaurant from 6:30pm. Enjoy an evening of Italian-inspired food and conversation with LGBTQ+ people. Participation is free. For more information, please visit Event Bright.

Afro Code DC will be held at Decades DC at 4 p.m. The event will feature non-stop music, dancing, and good vibes, as well as genre crossover and cultural fusion. Tickets are $40 and Event Bright.

Center Aging: Monday Coffee and Conversation It will be held on Zoom at 10am. This is a social time for older LGBTQ adults. Participants are encouraged to bring a beverage of their choice. For more information, please email us. contact address.

Genderqueer DC It will be held at 7pm on Zoom. This is a support group for people who identify as bigender, agender, genderfluid, or not 100% cisgender. For more information, sex or Facebook.

Tuesday, August 13

Pride on the Patio event “LGBTQ Social Mixer” The event will take place in the showroom from 5:30pm. Dress code may be casual, flashy or comfortable. Guests are encouraged to be themselves, chat, laugh and do something a little crazy. Entry is free and more information is available at Event Bright.

Transgender Support Groups It will meet at 7pm on Zoom. This support group is intended to provide a safe space, both mentally and physically, for transgender people and those questioning their gender identity and expression to come together in community and learn from one another. Coming Out Discussion Group It will meet at 7pm on Zoom. This is a peer-run discussion group, a safe space to share your coming out experiences and discuss topics related to coming out. For more information, please see the group Facebook.

Job Club It will take place at 6pm on Zoom. This is a weekly job placement support program for job seekers and job seekers, including the long-term unemployed, to increase their confidence, motivation, resilience and productivity for effective job search and networking. Virtual Yoga by Sarah M. The class will be held at 7 p.m. on Zoom. It’s a free weekly class focusing on yoga, breathing exercises, and meditation. For more information, visit the DC LGBT Community Center’s Website.
