Good night and good luck Not only is a new Broadway play adapted from a 2005 film of the same name, but the box office staff said, “Can I get an affordable ticket for this show?”
The play stars George Clooney, who directed and starred in the film. He and his writing partner Grant Heslov have brought it to Broadway with solid, refined production, but the best ticket price that will undoubtedly be breathtaking is $849.

good night Fits those descriptions. If there was reason to talk about the mass media struggle to hold elected officials accountable and combat the collapse of truth, now is. still good night Fine tuning is required to bring effectiveness to that important message.
Based on true events, the focus is on CBS News Anchor Edward R. Marlow (Clooney). Standing on the modest podium, Murrow opens the play with a speech to fellow journalists about their key roles and responsibilities.
The curtains then open in a vast set of designer Scott Pasque and act cleverly as a newsroom, bar and, for a short time, a Grand Central Station.
Mallow is facing Wisconsin Senator Joseph McCarthy and has launched a patriotically uninhibited, intrusive crusade to eliminate communism in the United States.

Despite words of caution from producer Fred Friendly (Glenn Freshler) and CBS Chair Bill Paley (Paul Gross), Murrow even pays the story forward and invites McCarthy to the show to protect himself (actual footage of McCarthy is shown on the big screen).

Having made his impressive Broadway debut, Clooney is measured, grounded and incredible newspaper reporter. He’s a big draw here. But if he can convince you to spend 100 minutes with him in a dark theatre for such money, you probably wish him good luck.
