This year, the Full Moon occurs just after the Summer Solstice, creating an abundance of divine light for several days around June 20 and 21. This unique and bright gift from heaven may bring you clarity and new understanding.
As the uplifting light of both celestial bodies reaches its peak (at least in the Northern Hemisphere), you too may find yourself making a deeper connection with your own potential and radiance.
The summer solstice sun is shining brightly, and the full moon gives us insight and wisdom, especially as we navigate through the shadows.
It is as if the Universe is trying to remind you of the magic and power that is available when you choose to share your authentic light in your own unique and special way.
Right now there is inspiration in both the sun and the moon (when the sun reaches its zenith it will be a full moon!) to stand in the light that all living beings deserve.
As I was walking through the garden this morning, I saw so many flowers in bloom and was reminded of the importance of specificity.
About the importance of directing your inner light towards a particular expression or offering that communicates a part of who you are.
I thought about how a rose doesn’t try to be a peony, and a yarrow doesn’t try to be a lavender. Each plant has its own beauty and color, and it achieves it on its own timeline.
As the summer solstice hits its peak, the chives are starting to die back, the peonies are almost finished, the roses are in full bloom and will continue to bloom for a while, but the lavender still has a few weeks to flower.
My Solstice wish for you is that you take a little time and space to tune into the light within you. Whether you draw inspiration from the Solstice Sun or the round, bright Moon, may the bright celestial light invite you to connect with the shining light within yourself and invite you to carry it forward.
