The fashion industry can be daunting, especially for those who wear plus sizes. Finding clothes on par with New York Fashion Week opportunities may be more difficult, but it is not impossible. Plus-sized fashionistas proved this to be true when they went out for Fashion Week! This is what caught my eye!

Day 1 of New York Fashion Week

I’m so happy with the Adore Me Show! The Red Sea was incredible and my confidence was contagious. When I asked Some participants Regarding their outfits, I heard a mix of Zara, Eloquii, Amazon, Anthropologie and some seriously impressive Thrift Store Hauls. It was exactly the dose of fashion inspiration I needed. There were also plenty of plus size fashionistas wearing Adore Me, which offers up to four times the size.

Day 2 of New York Fashion Week

The next morning I previewed GiovaniThe latest collection – a brand synonymous with stunning formal gowns. While there I found celebrity stylist Esther Lamore. She looked absolutely beautiful in her custom Versace blazer, Akira’s black tulle dress and Zara’s shoes.

I was able to talk to Giovani designer Julie Durochar. She took me backstage to see the fabric used for her plus size gowns and took me to another floor in Jovani fashion. The gowns were not only beautiful and fashionable, but also inclusive.

Day 3 of New York Fashion Week

We concluded New York Fashion Week with Mefeater Magazine! The fashion show was memorable thanks to Amiel Chandler. His blue outfit was a shortpper. I could chat with him and he mentioned Erokii, Assos, Deer & Company, and Berry as some of his favorite places at the moment.

New York Fashion Week was a marathon and not a sprint, my wardrobe had to catch up! For me, it meant power suits, power suits, and other power suits. The Eloquii is an absolute go-to for these. It wrapped around delicate lace suits, sequin numbers and burgundy silk suits. He also wore a classic navy blue pinstripe suit from Lane Bryant.

I knew I wanted a dress for one of the days, so I hunted the perfect piece of ASOS. I cried out the girl boss in New York Fashion Week, but found a stunning rosy maxi dress that was versatile enough for multiple outfits across the runway.

Shoes are essential for a week like this. Comfort is important for every walk, but you can’t sacrifice style. I went to Dolce Vita Arilla wide calf boots. Not only are they incredibly comfortable, they are also a godsend for those who need a wider calf option.

Kara’s Outfit was perfectly styled! She rocked an erotic kii top, a target skirt, Honena’s home stockings, and an Amazon tie and hat. Her rif blazer was perfect finish. Unique necklaces from Quay Australia Glasses, Shoedazzle Shoes and Street Vendor completed her look. This Fashion Week belongs to a truly stylish plus size community and proves that fashion is for everyone.
