Some days you want sartorial sophistication, but you don’t want the formality that comes with regular tailoring. Summer often means starting with a shape I’m already drawn to. clean short, cropped jacket, easy pants— and brings fabrics, colors, and details to light.
I’m looking for items that will take me from midweek coffee meetings to weekend brunch without missing a beat. A floral jacket brings energy to a black tank and long shorts. a striped t-shirt I feel more taken care of when I have it. Sleek A-line skirt. a wide leg pants It always feels like it’s put together, but doing it with linen feels a little unexpected.
It’s still being adjusted, but there’s still plenty of room to play. The lines remain clean and the shapes remain thoughtful, but there’s enough color and texture to make getting dressed feel like the best part of the day.
