My off-duty looks almost always start with denim. It’s the backbone of dressing: reliable, effortless, and infinitely versatile. Once you find a few silhouettes that work best for you, everything else will fall into place. Currently, I have three main styles in rotation.

The Barrel
A modern form with a strong presence. Delicately constructed and relaxed across the leg, barrel jeans bring edge to even the simplest of outfits, perfect for pairing with crisp T-shirts, slim knits and tailored jackets.
The Straight
There are reasons that are timeless. Straight leg jeans are the ultimate wardrobe anchor. Clean lines, flattering proportions, and easy to dress up or down. A pair of shoes that can be used every day, anywhere.

Four things to keep in mind when finding your favorite denim:
Know your rise. Medium, high, and low will completely change the look, so start there. Check the fabric. Look for denim that doesn’t lose its shape and doesn’t feel stiff. Try adjusting the size. Trying the next size up or down may change the fit. Think about your styling scope. The best jeans should be paired with flats, heels, sweaters, blazers, and jackets.
