Meet the golden couple Hunter and Tara
When Team USA’s Hunter Woodhall won the men’s 400m T62, he celebrated with his wife, Tara Davis-Woodhall, by recreating the famous scene when she won gold in the women’s long jump at the Olympics, but in reverse. It was Woodhall’s first Paralympic gold medal, and a perfect ending for the power couple.

Another incredible Paralympic Games came to an end, with incredible performances and incredible stories behind the medals. The Closing Ceremony at the Stade de France officially brought the Games to a close with an unforgettable show and set the bar high for Los Angeles 2028.

Switzerland took a double gold medal with the unstoppable Marcel Hug winning his third consecutive Paralympic men’s T54 marathon victory. Catherine Debrunner also won the women’s T54 gold medal, marking her fifth victory at Paris 2024. “Winning this Paralympic marathon means everything to me.”
