Summer is almost here! The kids are out of school and we are in the final stages of staying home for most of the summer. I’m very excited, but packing requires a lot of preparation because of my family and my job. So much of my day was spent meeting deadlines before I left. We will be working throughout the trip, but preparatory work is essential to avoid falling behind in the first place. Let’s take a look at what happened last month!
what we are doing
- There are two big design reviews before we go. One is about a collaboration that will begin later this fall, and the other will begin before the holidays. Both are completely different things and belong to different categories, so it’s fun to work on them at the same time.
- Since we are planning to renovate our kitchen during our trip, we needed to pack everything in advance. I can’t wait to have it all together in August!
- We start our summer trip in Paris. I look forward to coming back with the girls. Last time we went there they were 1.5 and almost 4 so this time it will be a completely different experience.
- I have booked all the restaurants in Paris for next week. This time we will introduce Gigi, Le Renome, Le Grand Café, Le Bon Georges, and Chez Janou.
- After Paris, I’ll be heading to Spain for a little over two weeks, then traveling through Mallorca, Menorca, and Marbella until the beginning of July. Here’s what to bring to Spain.
- I’m going to a concert with a friend this week and I’m wondering what to wear to be comfortable, playful, and beat the heat. I’m thinking of making it like a mini This one or This one and white tank top And sandals.
