The Down’s Syndrome Centre in Dublin, Ireland, has been selected to benefit from a polo day this year, with the highlight being the Polo in the Park Charity Lunch Party, featuring award-winning food from Tankardstown House, County Meath.
The event (Sunday 8 September) coincides with the Pakistan Cup’s final tournament of the season at the All Ireland Polo Club, where the best teams will rise to the top to compete one last time on the polo fields at Phoenix Park. The fundraising day will see famous jockeys and horse trainers go head-to-head in the ultimate charity match on the historic polo field.
Tickets for the event in aid of Dublin’s Down Syndrome Centre are on sale now and are selling fast: priced at €150 per person, or €1,500 for a table of 10 tickets, include a champagne reception, fine food, an after-party and of course bookings for polo, but numbers are limited.
To book please email derville@noelmeade.com or call +353866088124. The dress code is expected to be “Just Amazing, Darling” and there will be a live performance by one of Ireland’s most popular singers, Sean Boland.
