Hannes Reinisch tasting at Terroir Donnybruck

Donnybrook terroir We are pleased to announce the visit of Hannes Reinisch In-store tasting at Terroir, Morehampton Road, Donnybrook Saturday, April 25, 2026 From 1pm to 7pm. (Admission is free).

Weingut Family Rhineish Austria’s Thermen region is located about 30 km south of Vienna, near Tattendorf, where the family farms 40 hectares of vineyards. With around 2,000 hours of sunshine per year, Thermen region is one of Austria’s sunniest and driest regions. The terroir of Tattendorf and Gumpoldskirchen makes the Reinisch family vineyard particularly suitable for growing Pinot Noir and Saint Laurent, as well as white varieties such as Chardonnay, as well as the indigenous grapes Rotgipfler and Zielfandler, for which the Reinisch family is especially famous. Reflecting the local microclimate, around 60% of the wines are red wines and 40% white and sweet wines.

Hannes and his two brothers, Christian and Michael, are the fourth generation of the family to run the estate. From the beginning, they embraced organic farming, using insects and a variety of cover crops to develop biodiversity in their vineyards.

Today, the Reinisch family is known as one of the leading producers in the Thermen region, with the brothers working together with the fifth generation, Thomas and Sebastian.

Family Rheinisch’s wines are surprisingly complex and elegant. Sean & François Giry of Terroir We are happy to invite customers to sample in-store and learn more about the products from the producers. Hannes Reinisch.
