String quartets by Susanna de Ryckson, Jim Doherty and Delmaine

Sunday, June 8th at 6:30pm, coinciding with Avi Morgan’s upcoming productions lovesong, Susanna de Reichson It exists I carry your heart: a song of love and joy, Nostalgia and romance, nights full of songs and speech, features Jim Doherty and Delmaine String Quartet.
The concert evokes poetry and joy, love and laughter from Mary Oliver, EE Cummings, and Dorothy Parker. The music features works by Duque Ellington, Johnny Mercer and Tom Lehrer, from the Great American Songbook to original compositions.
Join De Wrixon and Doherty at Double Bass’ Delmaine String Quartet and Barry Donohue, wrapping this beautiful jazz sound in warm blankets of strings.

On Friday, June 20th, the gates will announce a special event hosted by the screaming Ruadhánó Críodáin. It focuses on the power of loud, diverse transvoices. This special fundraising event, which benefits local LGBTQ+ organizations, including Soutout, will become a great curtain raster for our Pride Gate Crush season.

Run by artists and performers Naomi Diamond, Donna Ferra, and Shakira NightlyHouse of Wig began as a night of competition on Grand Social and then evolved into one of Dublin’s most bounding nights.

Finally, the gate welcomes those praised Dublin gay men chorus (DGMC) Two performances on Sunday, June 22nd. 
Founded in 2012, the Dubling Gay Men’s Chorus is one of Ireland’s best choirs and presents the unique sounds of the All-Male Choir.
DGMC, led by music director Duncan Bryckenden, takes pride in both musical excellence and its diverse approach to repertoire.
