zimmerman dress, call me by your name bag, JB x Margaux sandals, prada headband, saint laurent sunglasses
My closet is also fully transitioning into spring and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s nice to come back after a warm weather trip and actually get dressed here in light clothes and bare feet.
When I looked at everything together, I began to notice how consistent the details were. Lace-trimmed cotton skirts and camisole tops, embroidered denim dresses, and soft fringed accents throughout bags, hems, and accessories. Raffia appears throughout structured totes and smaller wristlets, adding a layer of texture.
The shoes lean into that as well, with woven leather, ties that wrap around the ankle, and delicate strapwork, with subtle colors and finishes that tie in with the rest of the look.
This Zimmermann dress really captures it (and long version do the same thing in different proportions). Scalloped edges, contrast trims and embroidery balance the details for a clean, defined finish.
In all aspects of clothing, accessories, and footwear, we keep coming back to details that convey a look on their own: lace, fringe, embroidery, and woven textures.
