The weekend before the Met Gala I was delighted to attend. Hair Education Beauty Summit (Heb)an inspiring gathering dedicated to blessing and elevating the art and business of hairstyles.
The event attracted some of the industry’s most respected voices. Tokyo Style, Larry Simsand Derek J HairI was sitting at the electrification panel discussion.

Each shared real-world advice, industry insights, and gems about working with top-class clients, navigating branding, and building enduring beauty success. Their authenticity and expertise illuminated the room and felt empowered and inspirational to all attendees.
Later, I grabbed photos with more hair industry icons. Terrence Davidson, Derek J.and Janelle Smith:

Before diving into a day full of knowledge and creativity, all attendees had the opportunity to relax the night before on a gorgeous yacht. We wandered the water with our hair and cocktails in hand, and it was a great way to relax and connect with fellow beauty experts and creatives. This atmosphere was a celebration and recoveryly equality. It’s your chance to reset before experiencing the artistry and education the next day. On my yacht ride (I called a black tie), I wore a Valdolin Sahiti gown.

For the summit itself, I wore a lavender feather trimmed Laponte ensemble and felt both luxurious and playful. The textured top and sparkling skirt caught the light as I moved through the fair, and the feather details added a bit of whim to the refined silhouette. I pair the look with light blue Arai sandals and go back to Platinum Pixie and love it.

Heb It was the perfect mix of fashion, fun and basic knowledge. From yachts to panels, every detail of the weekend reflects a deep love for hair and beauty craft and community.

I felt recharged, inspirational and grateful to being in the room. Until next time!
