Charlize Just Wore the Grown-Up Alt to the Turquoise Colour Trend

If, like me, you find your Instagram feed flooded with saturated turquoise hues and saccharine pinks, you might be feeling a little out of step with this season’s biggest color trends. I love summer wardrobe colors, but these high-impact tones just don’t work for me. Thankfully, there are softer, more understated combinations that feel just as fresh, and Charlize Theron just stepped out with one of the chicest combinations.

A slightly more grown-up alternative to summer’s turquoise trend, Charlize stepped out wearing the prettiest pale blue cotton shirt. Fresh, airy and unintimidating, the soft hues have all the brightness you need for a warm-weather look, but are now more wearable.

Rather than base her look in black or even chocolate brown, Charlize opted for elegant mauve pants instead. The muted coloring brings depth while maintaining a light, summery atmosphere. By pairing pale blue with soft mauve, you can wear a balanced and unexpected color right now.
