Celia Critarioti closed out Paris Haute Couture Week with a collection as dramatic as her guest list. The designer’s Place Vendôme venue was transformed into a glittering, snow-covered fantasy for the fall 2026 show, titled “Frozen Eden,” but the real spectacle began before a single model took to the runway.
The show, scheduled for 10 a.m., was delayed by nearly an hour to accommodate photographers and editors in an intimate setting. Hold up? Jennifer Lopez. The superstar arrived around 11 a.m., and once he arrived, the front row turned into a kind of runway moment as paparazzi jostled for shots in the small venue.
When the show finally started, it was clear that it was worth the wait, at least visually. Guests were seated on artificial snow beneath trees dripping with icicles, a stunning contrast to the real Parisian summer heat outside. Kritarioti’s concept was “an eclectic game of hide-and-seek between shadow and light,” and the collection delivered on that promise scene by scene.
Models walked in crystal-embellished gowns, frosted eyelashes, and hair sprinkled with fake snow, creating an ice princess feel made for the cooler climate. Velvet, feathers, and fringes ran through a palette of black, white, gold, teal, and red, and some faces were adorned with jewels in place of traditional makeup.

The sheer silhouette with plenty of lace was also impressive, and the striking dress with a snake-like motif also became a hot topic of discussion. The drama extended to the runway itself, with silver-plated embellishments catching the light with every step. The snow was so deep that multiple models lost their shoes during their walk.

The show ended with a snowy finale, a fitting theatrical send-off for a collection built entirely on the idea of a frozen fairy tale.
