Broadway’s biggest night brought some of the year’s most memorable fashion moments. The 79th Annual Tony Awards, held at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall, featured red carpet looks ranging from dramatic haute couture to sharp tailoring. Fashion Bomb Daily is here to analyze the best dressed.
Jeremy Pope set the tone early in a Robert Wang Spring 2026 Couture black and white ombre pleated gown, paired with a structured blazer, dramatic cape sleeves, and a wide-brimmed hat. The Broadway star made an undeniable statement, cementing her status as one of the most talked about style moments of the night.
Danielle Brooks kept it glamorous in a Wiederhoft SS26 RTW silver crystal-embellished off-the-shoulder fitted gown styled by stylist D. Hawke. Its exterior felt equal parts Old Hollywood and modern luxury.
Queen Latifah commanded the carpet from Naeem Khan’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection wearing an iridescent black feather cape with sheer beaded detailing on the collar. It’s an item that brings back memories of those days.
Ayesha Curry turned heads in a Montse Resort 2027 red halter fringe ombre maxi dress styled by Jason Bolden. The look was bold, graphic and perfectly suited to the evening’s drama.
Sarah Paulson appeared alongside Ella Beatty wearing Erdem Fall/Winter 2026 RTW, styled by Carla Welch. Paulson’s look was sophisticated, quietly powerful, and a masterclass in understated elegance. Beatty complemented her look with Gucci’s Tom Ford.
On the men’s side, Leslie Odom Jr. brought some downtown cool to the red carpet in a Public School FW26 Men’s red satin bomber jacket paired with black pants and a tie, styled by Abo Yermagyan. Law Roach kept his look sophisticated in a Louis Vuitton black satin lapel double-breasted tuxedo blazer, finished with a floral brooch.
Roach, who co-produced Cats: The Jellicle Ball, kept his look polished in a Louis Vuitton black satin-lapel double-breasted tuxedo blazer, finished with a floral brooch, and wore it openly with his signature relaxed confidence.
Usher and Jen Goicoechea have emerged as a true fashion couple. Usher wore a brown leather blazer by Tom Ford with a black shirt and pants, while Goikoechea wore a nude and black geometric sequin plunge-neck fit gown by Fjölla Hakismagiri. Both were styled by Jeremy Haines.
From haute couture to contemporary, the 2026 Tony Awards proved that Broadway’s fashion game is second to none.
