Who played The final part IIor I knew this episode would be online enough to experience very annoying and spoiler fans who like to make “subtle” jabs about what happens and would most likely be big. Things got tense between Ellie and Joel, the scene’s new players, and rumors of a gathering of infections that have been infected around Jackson set up a story that turned out to be a groundbreaking episode of the show.

There are some major spoilers below for this week’s episode, “Select the Valley,” and future stories. Please be warned.

There’s a lot to talk about from this episode, but everyone has only one teeth I was going to talk, and that’s Joel’s death. Everyone is easily familiar with it The final part II I probably knew this was going to happen. The leak of Joel’s death even happened before the game was released, with the small but very voiced group still denounced online for essentially causing the masculine culture and the collapse of the gaming industry. This is the current Gamergate 2.0 nonsense moment going around all new game announcements. Since the day the show was announced, all comments sections about the show probably mention what will happen to Joel.

TV audiences may not respond the same way as they are used to their favorite heartbreak and sudden deaths, but this is definitely going to be a big moment for the show. It could be the biggest water cooler moment Our Last It’s been there so far.

Obviously, this is a good reason. Joel is one of the heartbeats of the show. People connected Our Lastin both game and TV forms due to Joel and Ellie’s relationship. They are the foundation for audiences to invest their emotional energy. Killing one of them is shocking and dangerous, and you need to be confident in carrying more stories without him, both Ellie (and Abby) as the whole reason you’re playing/monitoring has been torn apart violently, rather than losing interest.

Don’t make mistakes, Our Last Vigorously Here we tear Joel. If anything, this was even more heartbreaking at the event version of the show. Because we can see more of the malicious assaults Abby has on Joel before killing him. Kaitlyn Dever is asked to go hard here, and she completely owns the violence, rage and emptiness of Abby’s vengefulness. She wanted something else from this act, or at least from Joel. She sought this man’s death in the hopes of calming the sadness she felt for her father.

The same applies to Ellie for very different reasons. Ellie appears to be completely drifting in the aftermath of Joel’s death. Bella Ramsey also deserves her flowers purely for the aftermath when she raw up Joel’s body, and the expression on her face as they dragged him to Jackson, who had devastated his body with his body.

Ellie told me how important Joel was last season. Even all the rage she over his lies remains that Joel was her foundation. She certainly feels drifting and purposeless without sacrificing herself for the cure, but she still had Joel and could take it for granted that he was there, even when he didn’t want him. He was the only thing that remained constant. Now she really does have nothing to fix her, and she realizes she feels exactly the same as Abby did about her father.

Of course, this has always been the main point of this story. That’s why Joel’s death hit players so hard in the game, and why we’re so angry. We lost one of the foundations of the franchise, just as Ellie loses one of the foundations of her life before Ellie gave us the controller and asked everyone involved to revenge of catharticism. Joel’s death asks the player/viewer to get involved in the story in an unpleasant way, and while it doesn’t work for anyone, it definitely triggers emotions.

(Don’t start dropping Ashley Johnson needles.)

Dina, Joel and Abby are seeking evacuation from the cold from our end

As one of the people who knew what was going to happen, it’s hard not to compare it to the game. I was able to spend this entire review on comparisons and contrasting overalls. But I just keep things simple, and say, for better or worse, that every change has a certain logic and is in a sense Our Last We created a scene where the game is even more brutal and soul-shattering than the game. Really, that’s all I can ask.

You can see how Dina is there in exchange for Tommy and add to her motivation to join Ellie on a trip to Seattle to hunt Abby and her crew. I understand why Abby wants Joel Dead. Because in the game her motivation remains half the mystery of the game, and her perspective cannot be seen in the same way.

Not only is Tommy not there, he can’t deal with his guilt and more heartbreaking things, but he also doesn’t have a brush of death so there’s nothing that scares him from going to Seattle and hunting Joel’s murderer. I made my reservation about giving Jackson this big fight scene against the Horde and wondered how that would affect everything that was going on with Joel and Abby. But the more I think I put it in, the more helpful the changes they made with these characters. This, of course, depends on the show that follows those changes and follows them.

On top of this, of course, the fight is amazing and is one of the best zombie hordes scenes you’ve seen on TV. In addition to the goofy moments where Tommy runs into the horde to distract him and not torn by the infected running past him, this fight is a fragment of well thought out and well-performed action, and more set pieces were hoping for in the very first season.

Jackson is not exactly left in a position to reassert Abby or the WLF to which she belongs, as she needs to reorganize and recover from the damage that has been made. Abby accidentally causes this horde, increasing the chance consequences of her reckless pursuit of revenge. This damage also serves as a factor in the importance of losing Joel in the Jackson community. Ellie and Tommy leave it alone and are selfish about hunting Abby.

Think of me as a fan. Maybe these changes aren’t necessary, but at least we can tell you that they were all thought of, and I would imagine the rest of the story reflecting it. Most importantly, this change does not undermine the spirit of the source material, but definitely enhances it.

It’s very likely that this episode here is the pinnacle of Our Last With pop culture conversation. I love where this story goes and I totally hope that this season will remain popular, but what are the singular moments people talk about? This may be that. There may never be a bigger, more shocking, more controversial moment that will spark the water cooler talk and angry social media posts that Joel’s death will cause. This is the red wedding moment that HBO has been trying to replicate for a long time.

I’m glad to say Our Last It can put some pretty weird good episodes around it.
