Marvel Announces Midnight Line Will Feature New Themed Approach To Variant Covers

Today, Marvel Comics announced the new cover for the debut issue of the upcoming Midnight series.midnight spiderman 1st place by Philip Kennedy Johnson and ScieTrnc, Midnight Fantastic Four#1 Benjamin Percy and Kev Walker Midnight X-Men #1 by Jonathan Hickman and Matteo Dela Fonte – and now we’re introducing all-new variant covers, including a new connecting cover

The story of the Midnight series may be unpredictable, but Marvel hopes the variant cover process won’t be. Starting with issue #1, each series features a recurring theme across the covers labeled AE. With the goal of “improving the accessibility and consistency of the variant cover collecting experience,” Marvel is working to ensure readers know what they’re getting each month. Additional variant covers will also be available beyond the specified theme.

The themes of the AE cover are:

· A bloody cover showing the horror of Midnight Universe.

· A chilling cover inspired by iconic horror imagery.

Cover E Midnight Gallery Variant

· Prestige painted the unforgettable Midnight Universe cover.

In this new creator-driven line, some of Marvel’s most acclaimed modern-day talent are empowered to manipulate the world’s greatest heroes through terrifying transformations. With its borderless storytelling, shocking twists, and rich interconnected lore, MIDNIGHT UNIVERSE is perfect for new readers and longtime fans alike to enjoy.
