Five years after its debut, Elisabeth Moss has opened up about the long development process. invisible man 2. Although the COVID-19 pandemic delayed the project, the film continued to perform well at the global box office, grossing more than $145 million worldwide against an estimated budget of approximately $7 million. In a recent interview with ScreenRant, Moss confirmed that a sequel is still in the works, stressing that the team is taking their time to get the story right.

“They could have easily made a sequel quickly and released it on a streaming platform to make money right away.” Moss said. “But I’m really grateful to Universal and Blumhouse for being adamant and not doing that. They have standards that are very rare these days, and I really want the sequel to be worth it. It’s kind of unusual, but I think it’s really important. We love that first movie so much, and everyone involved is really proud of this movie.”

She added: “If we’re going to do a sequel, we want to make sure it’s really worth it and maybe even better than the original. That’s what delayed us a little bit. But I don’t think it’s a bad thing. If we’re going to do it, it has to be right. We’re still working on it. We just need to find the perfect script.”

invisible man The film was written, directed, and executive produced by Leigh Whannell, one of the film’s main actors. Saw franchise. The film also starred Aldis Hodge, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Storm Reid, Harriet Dyer, and Michael Dorman.
