Roy Thomas Bakarm, a British producer and engineer who worked with Queen, cars, foreigners, and more, has passed away. The cause of death has not been revealed. Baker was 78 years old.
Born in London in 1946, Baker began his career at a young age, working at the city’s Decca Studios at the age of 14. During his apprenticeship, he served as the second engineer of leading producers as Gus Dudgeon (Elton John) and Tony Visconti (David Bowie, T. Rex), working on recordings for the Rolling Stones, Yes, Moody Spring Blues and Masti Springfield. more.
