This summer, Mutantkind returns to the neon-filled 80s with a new 80s variant cover by cover artist Alexander Lozano.
Capturing a decade of arcade, synths, and bold fashion, Lozano’s artwork spotlights Storm, Wolverine, Colossus, Rogue, Magic, and Mystique, and is totally radical with an 80s-inspired look with attitude. Six covers appear in each issue. X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, X-Men Unitedand wolverine From July to August. Nostalgic items arrive just in time X-MEN: Outbacka new retro series by Steve Orlando and Steven Segovia. The series, which launched this week, revisits the iconic ’80s era when the X-Men operated in the Australian outback.
“I discovered my love for the X-Men in the 1980s,” Lozano said. “For me, few things better capture the unique sound and vibe of growing up in the ’80s than the stylishly costumed X-Men. They were unsung heroes who had to face impossible odds.
