When and where is the veil thinnest?
Well… so we talked about what The Veil is and how it’s always getting thinner…
But have you ever heard that the veil is naturally thinner at certain times? Times like Samhain/Halloween, the “Witching Hour,” the Winter Solstice, and the Autumn Equinox.
Or perhaps you have heard of or been to certain sacred sites, ancient ruins, or “thin places” that have spiritual meaning and where the veil naturally thins?
Let me confirm… There are absolutely certain times and so many different places where the veil between the physical and the spiritual naturally thins.
liminal space
One of the hidden keys to finding these thin times and places has to do with limits.
Liminal comes from the Latin līmen, meaning “threshold.”
So a liminal space or a thin veil is a space where you’ve left something behind, but you haven’t quite fallen into something else yet.
Example: The space between where the sea ends and the land begins is a liminal space to “transcend,” and if you stand there…
You are not in the sea, you are not on the land…you are in between the sea and the land…in the energy of the water and the land, in a sense neither.
By being in the “middle” of liminal space, it becomes easier to peer through the veil that is “in between” the mind and the physical.
These midpoints, therefore, are places where the veil is naturally thin, both on earth and in time, offering a boost to glimpses beyond the veil into the spiritual world.

the other side of the veil
Although the veil is becoming thinner now…as physical beings, the magical and spiritual realms remain largely just outside of our everyday consciousness and normal waking consciousness.
But this doesn’t mean we can’t consciously cultivate a deep relationship with Spirit…
And through this we further help to lift the veil of illusion and bring about positive changes and transformations in the physical in order to expand consciousness and anchor the light and wisdom of the spiritual realm in our lives.
The best place to cultivate that relationship and begin to lift the veil is through meditation…
