Archangel Michael Yoga?
There are many types of yoga. Yoga itself comes from the Sanskrit word “Union“It refers to the path and practice of becoming one with truth, God, or a higher power.”
Today I am excited to share with you a powerful form of cognitive or conceptual yoga I have discovered called “Michael Yoga”…
Michael Yoga was first introduced in the Rosicrucian schools of initiation by Rudolf Steiner in the 20th century.
This yoga is called Michael Yoga because it is named after the Archangel Michael, who is known as the highest of the archangels and literally means “God-like one.”
In the Rosicrucian tradition of the time, “Michaelic” also referred to a classification of spiritual beings belonging to the Middle Way or Path of Christ.
In other words, a Michael Being is a Christ Consciousness Being who is neither totally biased towards the spiritual nor totally biased towards the physical, but rather walking the middle path, which to me means being totally connected to the God Light, Source Light, the infinite divine “I” and reaching out into the physical world.
What is Michael Yoga?
Michael Yoga is a form of cognitive yoga that helps you to spiritualize your thoughts by consciously directing your thought patterns and breath through awareness.
In another sense, it is used to expand your consciousness and help advance your Middle Way Ascension, to expand your awareness and spiritualize your thinking so that the highest light of your Divine Spiritual Essence may be embodied into physical creation.

The essence of Michael Yoga
In essence, Michael Yoga is a cognitive exercise of breathing with intent and embracing all of creation, worshipping and honoring all of creation as divine, whole and perfect.
Here’s how to do it:
First, quiet your mind by turning inward. To quiet your mind, find a place of quiet, calm and peace among your thoughts.
Relax, take a deep breath, and consciously inhale the awareness of the whole world.
Awareness of Creation. As you breathe consciously, open your mind to perceive, experience and accept the physical world as it is.
Then pause.
Then, as you exhale, breathe out the concept of God, Spirit, or Divine Source that is present in all of physical creation.
As you breathe out, listen to the concept of God Mind, Source Light, Infinite Light that forms all creation, flows through all creation, and is present in all matter and the material world.
Also…
Breathe in awareness of all of creation…breathe awareness of the whole world as it is into your heart center, your mind, and your awareness…
As you breathe in and out creation, conceptualize, see and experience the light of God, Spirit and Source that exists within all.
Breathe into the material world, and as you breathe out you see the divine light that is inherent in all things.
So this is essentially Archangel Michael Yoga, Michael Yoga, or Cognitive Yoga, and it also has the effect of spiritualizing your thinking, empowering you to perceive the world around you exactly as it is, and in the same breath, as you breathe out, you are able to see the light of Spirit, which is the divinity that is present in all things.
Another way to perceive this is to breathe in all of creation, and as you breathe out, see the divinity that is present in all of creation.
Give it a try – it’s incredibly powerful and can be done any time. Plus, by continuing this practice of consciously inhaling perceptions and exhaling concepts, you can continue to reach deeper.
