Excerpt from “Angel Scroll” by Penelopeholt

Prophecy, destiny, love. A journey of sadness and heroes at the heart of the spiritual novel, “Angel Scroll.”

Claire Lucas, the main character Angel scroll, A talented young Manhattan artist, living in sad, isolated after the death of her husband Jake. The sad life of a painter makes a mysterious turn as she begins to experience haunting her dreams and visions that lead to mystical masterpieces.

Claire’s grand artwork subverts her life, and draws her to an international scavenger hunt for two other supernatural paintings that, when combined with her, predict that ancient prophecies will create a visual gospel that will bring healing to the broken world.

Beyond this outward quest to announce the arrival of worldly miracles, Claire is also on the brink of an inner quest that takes her to learn what exists in the immeasurable depths of her mind beyond trauma and loss. On her hero journey, Claire is called for an adventure that leads to discoveries inside and outside.

You will be guided by the inner voice

Claire’s incredible new canvas is done in a completely different style, like a master older than the pastel landscapes she usually draws, bringing the spotlight to artists who are in the spotlight.

Paintings, rights There’s no miracledepicts an attractive vignette. Centuries ago, a Christlike figure is on the deathbed of a young Indian woman. The dying beauty is healed by the healing presence of the sacred man. Like Jake, this mysterious young woman dies from another time and place, and her sad husband steps down the same path Claire is walking now.

Despite its painful portrayal, observers even heal, soothe the paintings so surprisingly soothe, and buyers compete to own the coveted masterpiece, offering property on the canvas. Claire is seduced. The now poor widow of a former New York City public school teacher, she certainly could spend money, but instead she listens to her inner voice warning her not to sell.

A call to adventure and revelation

When Richard Markson of the Antique Museum appears at Claire’s gateway with a strange claim of hidden prophecy that prophesied a supernatural painting, Claire first turns around his invitation, taking part in the hunt with two other paintings, hunting to form a miraculous triptyk. But again, inner coercion directs her towards action in an unknown direction. With a strong sense of what Destiny calls, she embarks on both material and spiritual quests.

Deciphering and Identification

Longing to meet her husband again, Claire is seduced to believe in the prophecy of the angel scroll, Dead Sea parchment, which predicts the miracle and healing of a new era. The lonely widow secretly hopes that the fulfillment of the prophecy will bring easy and immediate treatment for her own existential suffering. Sadness teaches her that as humans we enter the world in the middle of things, “Medias Res.” We are born in our place in ancient stories where we have not begun, where its end remains a mystery and its meaning is struggling to decipher.

Why are we here? What happens when we die? Will we ever see the loved ones we lost again? Troubled by strangers, Claire, alongside Richard, pursues elusive paintings in the ancient European capitals and cities. Along the way, she encounters philosophers, prophets and holy men, pointing to the answers, and she must contemplate and weigh her personal search.

Love is a constant

When Jake passed away, the love that supported Claire was lost. A life filled with optimism and light suddenly turned into shadows and cold. The artist lived in a state of horror, looking ahead, bringing pain to remembering. Claire’s world was stagnant until his resolve to find Richard and the world-changing Triptici arrived at her gateway, but she was stagnant with the exception of energy that was not flowing through her paintbrush, leading to sacred inspirational paintings born from dreams and visions.

At the end of the journey, all three paintings are collected and under investigation by the Roman Vatican, making Claire’s relationship with Richard even more intimate. She is now able to guide her art and drive her art to adventure and new beginnings with symbols and messages that emerge from her unconscious.

Claire recognizes love as an eternal force that creates life, maintains existence, and creates meaning. The new love she sees cannot replace the old, but love, if we allow it, is ready to flow into our lives, running through the dry channels of contracted hearts, restoring abandoned hopes, animating new possibilities, taking many different forms, but always retains its strange essence.
