Poetry: Loss
Written by Dr. Archan Mehta
when i came to you
Room, belatedly, I
I was shocked to find the portrait.
Hanging from the wall:
I found a wreath of
Flowers around your neck.
At that time, I suddenly
I realized that I would
Please don’t meet me again.
life is strange and hanging
by thread. just something
I said I don’t feel well.
It’s me, but maybe that’s all there is to it.
I feel depressed without you
Beside me. woke up
I cry when I remember you
I cherish the memories I have with you.
