Winter Recipe: Naked Fish Pie

I always prefer to wrap fish in winter or eat baked fish. First, these are the warmest and winter methods to get your fish intake, but second to minimize the smell! Include as many types or a small number of fish as you like. Since it is rich in beta -carotene, select the sweet potato topping. This is converted into vitamin A in the body and a great beauty to help treat acne and improve skin color.

Naked fish pie

Two large sweet potatoes, peel and cut into small lumps
25g butter
25g gluten -free flour
300ml and half ski milk (see the hint below), warmed
1/2 lemon juice
300ml vegetable stock
One teaspoon of all grains
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
500g white fish fillets (cod, head, haudock, polock, etc.) are cut into lumps.
One small fennel bulb, half, slices thinly
Sea salt and black pepper

  1. Pre -heat the oven to 220 ° C/200 ° C fan.
  2. Put the potatoes in a pot filled with water and boil for 10 minutes or until it becomes softer. Drain before mushing with potato masher, add salt and pepper and add flavor.
  3. Meanwhile, first dissolve the butter in a pot over medium heat to make a white sauce. Add flour and stir for about 2 minutes or until the paste is formed. Next, slowly add milk until you eat a smooth sauce and stir all the time. Stir for another 5-10 minutes until the source becomes darker.
  4. Add lemon juice to the sauce, followed by stock and mustard. Taste and season with salt and pepper, and stir 1 teaspoon of parmesan. Before removing from the heat, cook for 1 minute when boiled.
  5. Put the fish in the oven proof dish with the sliced ​​fennel. Pour on the white sauce and top the sweet potato mash. Sprinkle the remaining parmesan on top.
  6. Place the plate on the baking tray. Move over for 40 minutes or until it is cooked until it is golden.
  7. Add green vegetables such as spinach, kale, broccoli.
Hint
    • Semi -ski milk is replaced with coconut milk and lends the Asian flavor to the fish to the fish.
