Westman Atelier recently announced some new stuff. Today I’ve summarized what I’ve been testing.
Baby Cheeks new color – Fizz
Westman Atelier occasionally creates products exclusive to our website. The latest release is baby cheeks cream blush stick in fizz ($48). shared A quick demo from last week And now it’s already sold out, but I hope it comes back eventually. Fizz is a bright, warm pink. Fizz is similar in brightness to Poppet, but the new Fizz shade is warmer and a bit brighter, making it easier to wear on my golden/olive skin.
As it blends in, it will give you a more natural complexion. I think they are similar in color saie dew blush frivolous, road pocket blush Juice Box (Review) here). The performance is the same as all of Westman Atelier’s baby cheeks. If you live in a humid climate or have oily skin, you won’t get a super long wear time, but layering some kind of powder on top will make it last longer. I think this is a great formula for girls with dry skin.
Hydro balm sheer tint lipstick
I love lip balm launches so I was very excited to try hers Hydro balm sheer tint lipstick ($50 each). I thought it was a little too sheer for my personal taste, but I also think they chose some shades that didn’t suit my skin or lip color. I ordered it sight unseen and while I think the formula is beautiful, some of the shades were too cool-toned and bright for me.
I shared a swatch on Instagram and a mini review here. I’m really surprised that so many people love this barely visible lip color. I gave these a pass in my review, but I can’t believe how many DMs I’ve received from you saying you loved these.
I like pop and juice. The pink I chose is a true neutral, but this kind of neutral tends to pull my skin very grayish or blue. So if you are fair-skinned or fair-skinned and find it difficult to find a color that suits you, you are in luck Westman Atelier Hydro Balm line!
Nectar is a pale peach gold that shines through.
Juice is pure white peach
Valerin is a cool mauve pink
Pop is sheer red
English roses are mauve
Lip liner that determines the shape of your lips
I also have some samples, Lip shape that defines lip liner ($34). I really like this formula. Because although it is a traditional pencil, it is not very hard and at the same time neither creamy nor gel-like. Sometimes you want to line your lips with a classic pencil. These glide smoothly on the lips and have great staying power.
Petal is my favorite of the shades I tried, followed by Je Reve. In my experience, the colors look more neutral or cool compared to online stock photos. I didn’t make these lip swatches but you can see the petals here.
Overall, there are some beautiful launches from Westman Atelier. The formula is incredibly good and the performance is 10/10. As for the lip balm, I wish it had more pigment. I also wish it had a warmer shade of pink.
