Spring cleaning isn’t just for your home. After the long winter season, your skin may also need to reset. At this time of year, I want to pack lots of fresh, lush greenery to boost my skin and overall health. In other words, the salad is perfect for the menu. Green is a good source of age-fighting phytochemicals, so what you put on your plate is just as important as what applies to your face when it comes to your anti-aging regime. Rockets are one of the most delicious ways to add a green boost to your meal, so share one of my favorite rocket recipes from my book and get ready for spring.

Herbie Rocket Salad Recipe
material
A handful of rockets
A handful of spinach
A small number of fresh parsley
A few fresh coriander
A few fresh mint
1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
20g Parmesan cheese, shaved
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp Balsamic Vinegar
Serve 2 as a side dish
150 calories per meal
- Throw all the green leaves and herbs into a bowl and mix.
- To serve, sprinkle sunflower seeds and Parmesan shavings and equip them with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
