Charlotte Tilbury Holiday Haul – The Beauty Look Book

I transported Mini Charlotte Tilbury last month and she has finally gotten around to playing with the things I found. I purchased the new Pillow Talk Beautyverse Love Palette and a few other items that have been restocked. The Charlotte Tilbury team gave away one of their advent calendars. It’s very cute. I shared the unboxing of the reel, but now I wanted to share a sample of the beautiful item.

Pillow Talk Beautyverse Love Palette

of Pillow Talk Beautyverse Love Palette ($69, nordstrom, sephora, bloomingdales) is a 9-pan palette of pink, cranberry, and fuchsia tones. It has a very berry-like feel to my eyes, so I thought it might not be for me, but the glow was so pretty that I decided to give it a try. There are three different finishes inside the shadow. The matte has a very smooth, almost creamy cushiony texture. There are some very shimmery toppers and some even more sophisticated shimmery shades.

I think it’s beautiful. I don’t think this tone is for everyone, but I think it gives a really nice holiday glam look. I hope that in the future they create another palette with a neutral version using this formula and texture.

Hollywood Blush and Glow Glide Palette

What I purchased was Hollywood Blush and Glow Glide Palette ($29, sephora and nordstrom) and love it. The pink blush is very soft and has a medium neutral undertone. I really love this highlighter as it is very smooth, the shimmer is not too sharp and the finish is very pretty. However, it is almost identical to Pillow Talk Glow’s Hollywood Glow Glide Face Architect Highlighter.

I added some more swatches to her matte beauty blush wand, beauty light wand and cheek to chic Add a pink-toned blush for comparison.

Unreal Skin Sheer Glow Tint Foundation Stick

What I picked up was Unreal Skin Sheer Glow Tint Foundation Stick ($46, I chose mine sephora) Based on feedback and recommendations from many of you. I shared my initial thoughts in a shopping post a while back, thinking it would be too dewy and shiny to wear as just a highlight.

Most of you said you passed, but a few of you asked for another chance. Many people use it as a shine base on some areas of the face, under their regular foundation. hollywood flawless filter However, the stick isn’t that shimmery and has a slightly sheer/balmy finish. Many of my dry skin readers said that this added the perfect amount of shine and moisture and that once it actually blended, it didn’t look as dewy or shiny as they expected.

I’m glad I was given the chance. In the end, I chose Shade 7.5. I don’t know if I’ll be able to wear this in the Florida spring or summer, but this winter has been very dry, which means it’s close to the normal weather most people experience. My skin has been very dry lately and I love all kinds of cream products and very thick moisturizers.

I wear it all over my body as a base. I also add concealer to areas where I need more coverage and sometimes set it with powder. I also layer my regular foundation on top of it (I recently repurchased hers) beautiful skin foundation Shade 6). I really love it. This is unlike other foundation sticks I’ve tried, it has the perfect amount of shine without being overdone for me and doesn’t accentuate fine lines or pores.

Overall, I give the foundation stick a solid 10/10 rating. I love the Blush Duo, but I think you can fake the color with other products. I really liked the Pillow Talk Beauty Bath palette, but if I can’t wear berry or pink tones on my eyes, I think I’d skip it and choose something else.
