Stella McCartney’s Fall 2025 runway show was marked by the ultra sexy take of office sirens – “Laptop to lap dance,” as the brand joked about it. There was a modern take with 80’s power suits (shoulder pads, pinstripes and shiny thigh high boots), and then an oversized tailored coat and slinky party dress slid from post 9 to 5.

Released online today, the limited edition T-shirt features Koons’ untitled (The Girl from Dolphin and Monkey) artwork combined with McCartney’s “Slippery Wet” slogan, a reference from the 2001 debut runway show. A slogan tea that will marry fashion and art in the most ways.

“WET WET WET” Stella McCartney x Jeff Coons T-shirt made her debut at the Autumn 2025 runway show.

Ik Aldama

This is not the first time McCartney has collaborated with the Coons. A longtime friend previously partnered with a rabbit necklace pendant in 2005, a printing of the summer 2006 collection, and a Z Manifesto T-shirt from McCartney A to 2020. And according to the brand, The Slippery Wet Wet Thirt is just the first release from the wider capsule collection between the two sets that will debut as part of the Spring 2006 collection in January.

The collaboration nods to Stella McCartney’s debut Runway Show in 2001, featuring a “WET WET” T-shirt dress.

This is the latest in high fashion returns from slogan tea coded in the 2000s. Last year, the t-shirt from Zendaya’s custom Loewe “I Takin Ya” t-shirt “Challengers” became one of the most talked about items of 2024, quickly sold out, inspiring a series of alternative dupes. This past season, Conor Ives’ “Protect the Dolls” t-shirts helped trance rights, went viral when celebrities from Pedro Pascal to Charli XCX wore the designs, creating an A-list wave. With a runway statement, Willie Chavalier’s “We Are We Are We” Tee served as a way of looking at the designer’s Paris runway show finale, with Lure’s Fall 2025 show featured a slogan tea decorated with the words “I’m talking about you about you about you.”

It brings a trend that cleverly encounters fashion take, and now you can get a Stella McCartney x Jeff Coons Limited Edition T-shirt for shopping for $475, but if your previous slogan tea is any indication, it’s best to hook it before it sells out.
