I’m very excited to (hopefully) give one of you a free room makeover again. Perhaps my favorite parts of my work and what I really live in. As a fan of large skylights, the natural light and fresh air brought to you by Velux Skylight Systems, you can tell you that you can truly change your experience (not just in the summer) in your home. We’ve done two free makeovers in the past, and Velux offers another. Velux Bright Days Makeover – And I really want one of my readers to win it!
As a reminder, the room is completely redoubted, including my design services, furniture, decor budget, installation, and of course the right amount and size of the room’s skylight system. I write all day in the kitchen or sunroom so I want a kitchen (cosmetics, not cosmetics, modifications, a living room, family room, or office makeover. So look around your home. Are there any rooms that are dark and ignored but may be? You don’t need to be arched like we do. Velux installers can create drywall shafts that will remove light from the roof to the room.
If you find it strange, all skylight systems are installed in tints of shades that have been shaved out the room, and size and orientation will be specific to your home, ceiling and roofline as determined by experts. They are remotely operated or by apps, solar powered and move seamlessly. I currently have two in the Kaitlin bathroom (one does not have natural light).
You can also place it in a room with windows that will become like me and add even more natural light and a bright and airy feel (which is especially great for PNWs in winter).
