This week’s house tour A feast for the eyes! Jacinta Platt, director of Design Scout, said, “The surfaces are not left untouched. All ceilings are taken into consideration, and there are no white walls throughout the project.” It also needs to be mentioned that their timeline was only six weeks! That’s an absolute must-see.

Nothing will make you happier than ordering something from a small manufacturer and knowing that you are a long-time reader/follower. From Marley: I know that SuperGoop Glowscreen It’s been around for a while so I’m sure it was included in the linkup before, but when I finally tried it I finally understood the buzz. I want to wear it on days when I’m not going to go outside. It has essentially the same effect Saiy Glowy Super Gel (This is a daily staple for me), so I’m so happy to have found an SPF alternative that I can wear during the summer days. I got the golden hour colour. Fun fact, if you have an HSA, you can buy it with an HSA fund.

From Gretchen: One of my favorite clothing items for the summer is a pair of flowing, refreshing, lightweight linen pants. Lightweight linen? summer? Groundbreaking, I know. Technically, These cloud gauze pants It’s cotton from LL Bean, but last year it was my favorite trousers to reach for this time of year. They hold up very well through a lot of wear and washes, and the texture of their gauze is very cute, breathable and extremely comfortable. I wear larger sizes and I love how they fit (usually around size 12 in regular pants) and how they sway on my body. I’m a pretty tall girl (5’9”) so I don’t hit me around my ankles like a model, but I prefer to look a bit cut out! Wide legs and generous slits on the sides provide extra cooling when the day is too hot to handle.

From Arlyn: Public Service Announcement! If you don’t have a Jar scraper spatula yet, we highly recommend adding it to your kitchen tool Arsenal as soon as possible. It’s much narrower/slender than your standard silicone spatula. This doesn’t always fit in the mouths of a few bottles. This morning I was cleaning up a jar of peanut butter (I like this) And I realized that I had never sang my praises on the link. Its purpose may seem like a pretty single notebook, but I promise to use this thing all the time if you’re a cheeky house. Also, rub the bowl using mine when cooking or baking, or like a typical spatula.

From Jess: I checked and I can’t believe I haven’t talked about this yet. My wonderful and cool cousin got me for Christmas This exfoliating bar of soap. Before giving it to me, her words were, “It’s not that exciting, but it changed my life.” I was clearly intrigued and when I used it I got it. It smells amazing and fills the entire bathroom with aroma. But most importantly, my skin always feels very good. It’s not cheap, but it lasted quite a bit of time for me (6 months and I’m still sure to have some more). Also, as proven to me, it is a truly wonderful gift 🙂
From Caitlin: Stop what you’re doing, put all the other books, throw away the podcasts, listen to the audio version Careless peoplea memoir written by a former global policy director on Facebook. When I saw that audiobooks could be streamed for free as part of my Spotify subscription, I had been waiting months for a copy from my local library, and I was hooked from the jump (even Dennis stopped what he was listening to!). “Caution” is far too generous for Facebook’s executive team. Most of it still leads the business today (I tend to go “mental illness” or “ruthless” or “cruel.” This direct explanation makes Miranda priests look like saints in comparison. It’s scary, heartbreaking and frustrating (“just stop your job” or “raising your spine” was my constant reserve) but listening out loud is dry, humorous and even better. I spent the last week rushing to do the dishes, or vacuuming it, so there’s an excuse for some chapters. It’s juicy. (However, if you’re on the fence about getting your kids to join social media, Careless people It will fundamentally shape your opinion. )
