If you see my post about my goals for 2025, you will see that this year I am achieving my monthly goals, not my annual goals. So, although we didn’t set overall reading goals for 2025, we’re planning on setting monthly goals.

My goal for January is to complete six books and I’m excited to report that I’ve finished six books! There’s no fiction this month, but I’ve finished one memoir!

Every month I plan to share reviews of books that ended the previous month + My Book Stack for Next Month (see My Book Stack for February!) blog. Also, share more of what I’m reading in real timeInstagram StoriesandOn a podcastandIn my personal email newsletter.

Six books ended in January

  • Develop deeper connections in a lonely world– If you are struggling with a breakup of friendship, if you find it challenging to build a community, or if you need practical advice to build a healthy friendship, this was a really good read! (I wrote it Here is a post inspired by Becky’s book. )
  • drifting-My mother gave me this book and it was a very fascinating and fascinating story. It’s an old reprinted book and I love the tale of courageous faith!
  • Sabbath soup – I loved this book! It is packed with encouragement for menu planning and meal planning in a way that allows you to have a Sabbath. Plus, I loved Kati’s encouragement and ideas, ready to prepare you to bless others by opening your home or having a meal!
  • Your Life Project of Love– If you really need a practical but simple guide to help you fall in love with the life you already have, definitely check out this book! Packed with Sage advice + Workbooks are doubled as workbooks with practical questions and suggestions that each chapter will help you apply things in your own life! Listen to the podcast episodes here.
  • Vision-led leader -Thank you Michael Hyatt, for creating mission statements and vision scripts for our company for the first time! After running a company for over 20 years, it’s time! This book was so inspiring for me when I stepped into a new role in the company (overseeing blog/business daily strategy) and when I tried to transition from manager to true leadership!
  • Words in front of the world – Gretchen Saffles, thank you for encouraging Jesus first. This book fits very well with my goal of not turning on the phone for the first hour of the morning.

For those who ask when I read: I always have several books at once and read a few pages of chapters in Christian Inspiration Book + Business Books. Then my goal is to read at least 30 pages of more enjoyable reading in the evening before bed – memoirs, fiction, etc. I’ve been having a hard time getting it. ‘M is too tired to read. I don’t know if that’s a good or a bad thing, but that’s the reality! 🙂

Which books have you recently finished? I want to hear it!
